An introduction to why technology matters and how broadband infrastructure impacts economic development, business retention and attraction and job creation. Boswell will present the community technology planning process, including community roles in promoting technology literacy, vitality and investments.
Track I focused on teaching attendees about broadband, what it is, and the differences between different types of connectivity. The sessions in the track progressed through the day and most attendees who chose to attend the first session followed up with the track for the rest of the day. While the PPTs are not available – the presenter’s Web Site (Design Nine) is full of materials that will help you better understand broadband at a community level.
