from dial-up towards broadband, currently dial-up is at 40%. The goal

current dial-up user to broadband.
- Get more individuals
to try broadband.
- Decrease businesses
that use dial-up to lower that to 20%.
- Increase availability
of broadband to 100% of businesses.
Ely -
Vermillion Community College

- Increase our broadband
take rate by 20%.
- Focus additional
education efforts on the use of broadband within the community with
a participation rate of approximately 2000 community members in those
educational activities.
- Identify and support
activities to increase public and private investment in broadband.
Grand Rapids

to:
- Work collaboratively
with the Quad County On Line Learning Coordinator to train sixteen teachers.
- Bring all sectors
(health, education, government, business and non-profit) together to
begin the process of creating a prototype for a community portal.
- Work with the City
of Grand Rapids to make available to the community additional tax assessment
data electronically.
International
