Through this Blandin Foundation intitiative, dozens of partners are working to develop and implement strategies that promote the connection between a healthy forest-based economy, a healthy forest ecosystem and healthy communities.
Our work is guided by an Advisory Board and focuses on a set of objectives that fall within three focus areas:
- forested land base and resources
- forest management
- economic development
This active program of the Public Policy and Engagement department has resulted in dozens of projects, detailed in our projects summary and featured in our Vital Forests/Vital Communities blog.
