Amber Smith

Amber (she/her/hers) is a member of the Innovation and Design Team. As Project Manager, she is responsible for coordinating staff and resources so internal and external work is well aligned to be efficient, cost-effective, and completed on time. She pairs her deep knowledge of Foundation data tools with her expertise in analyzing processes and methods to assure work meets the Foundation’s short-term goals and long-term vision. 

She earned both her bachelor’s degree in business administration and master’s degree in project management from The College of Saint Scholastica.  

Asked why she loves rural, Amber responds, “When I think about rural MN and its many challenges, I am motivated not just by my work here at the Foundation, but for the future of my community, the place I call home. The passion to help others doesn’t go away, it only gets stronger!”
